SKYSCRAPER-02C A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Atezolizumab Plus Carboplatin and Etoposide With or Without Tiragolumab in Patients With Untreated Extensive-Stage SCLC in China
Take-home: SKYSCRAPER-02C evaluated tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and chemotherapy versus atezolizumab plus chemotherapy in untreated extensive-stage SCLC in China. In patients without brain metastases, tiragolumab improved median PFS from 5.4 to 5.6 months (HR 0.65) and OS from 13.5 to 18.7 months (HR 0.89), although global SKYSCRAPER-02 was negative. Exploratory biomarker analyses suggested greater benefit in immune-inflamed molecular subtypes and tumors with stronger T-effector and macrophage signatures.
