Giredestrant plus Everolimus in Advanced Breast Cancer
Take-home: A phase 3 trial evaluated giredestrant plus everolimus versus standard endocrine therapy plus everolimus in patients with ER-positive, HER2-negative advanced #BreastCancer previously treated with a CDK4/6 inhibitor. Giredestrant significantly improved progression-free survival, particularly in patients with ESR1-mutated tumors: 10.0 versus 5.5 months. Benefits were also observed across the overall population, while adverse-event rates were broadly similar between treatment groups.
