Picked by The OncoAlert NetworkRadiotherapy & Oncology

Take-home: This systematic review and meta-analysis of 29 studies involving 3,817 patients evaluated the safety of combining radiotherapy (RT) with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in #BreastCancer Severe extracranial toxicities were uncommon with T-DM1, T-DXd, and sacituzumab govitecan (SG). However, intracranial RT revealed a consistent radiation necrosis safety signal with T-DM1, not observed with T-DXd or SG. These findings inform clinical decision-making and support updated ESTRO consensus recommendations. Courtesy of mirrors of medicine
