OncoAlert HORIZONS Series: Breast Cancer

OncoAlert HORIZONS brings together leading international breast cancer experts for focused, practical conversations on the questions that shape everyday clinical decisions. Each episode takes one evolving challenge, from escalating or de-escalating therapy in early HER2-positive disease to treatment sequencing in the metastatic setting and the emerging role of oral SERDs, and looks at how the latest evidence fits into real-world practice.
The series features Dr. Sherene Loi, Dr. Elisa Agostinetto, Dr. Giampaolo Bianchini, Dr. François-Clément Bidard, Dr. Sibylle Loibl, Dr. Rupert Bartsch and Dr. Javier Cortés, colleagues from Australia, Belgium, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Spain. True to the OncoAlert spirit, it is made by colleagues, for colleagues.

The OncoAlert HORIZONS Breast Cancer series was made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Roche.
In this session of OncoAlert Horizons, we explore: Therapeutic options after CDK4/6 inhibitor + endocrine therapy in HR+, HER2– advanced/metastatic breast cancer, and the emerging role of SERD-based combination strategies in this setting.

Early HER2+ Breast Cancer: Escalate, De-escalate or Personalise? How far should we go in treating early HER2-positive breast cancer — and when is less actually more? In this high-impact episode of the OncoAlert HORIZONS Series, two leading international breast cancer experts explore one of the most important clinical questions in modern oncology: balancing cure, toxicity, and personalization in HER2+ early breast cancer. 🎙 Featuring: • Dr. Giampaolo Bianchini • Dr. Francois Clement Bidard
In this episode of the OncoAlert Horizons Series, leading breast cancer experts Dr. Sibylle Loibl and Dr. Rupert Bartsch discuss one of the most important topics in early breast cancer management today: the challenges of adjuvant treatment in patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative disease and the emerging role of next-generation oral selective estrogen receptor degraders (SERDs).
In this expert discussion, we examine one of the most important evolving questions in the management of HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer: The 1st-Line Reset and the New Sequencing Problem. What do we want to achieve in HER2+ metastatic breast cancer? As outcomes continue to improve with modern HER2-directed therapies, clinicians are increasingly faced with new challenges regarding treatment goals, optimal sequencing strategies, duration of disease control, and how best to maximize long-term patient outcomes.
